The problem with the silence is that,
in the most of the time, he isn't the quiet stillness we expect.
No, it has a tendency to make references and revelations
too incisive to deal with so easily.
And of course, we can't escape from the truth.
When you shut up a voice that can't be contained,
sooner or later, everything will explode, and the side effect will be
painful and unquestionably, irreparable.
And there are always the eyes... Treacherous liars,
agile, volatile, sugary as a deadly poison;
and there is also breath, failure, ragged,
distressed and anxious, foreboding of catastrophe.
And the lips, ah, portals of coziness and pain,
soft, hot, cunning, indecipherable,
skillful drivers of dreams and fantasies
doomed to failure...
And all this, in the silence of a hopeless mind.
